We're not
kidding when we say we've got everything onboard. Norwegian Star
was built for Freestyle Cruising, with a long list of options
for every Tom, Dick and Jane out there. You'll have 13 superb
choices for dining, with tempting selections that range from
Asian fusion and French Mediterranean to all-American. We've got
a wide array of staterooms and suites to accommodate however you
choose to spend your time on board, so treat yourself with a
no-rules, freedom filled cruise north to Alaska's pristine
waters or south to the Mexican Riviera.
Head's up, there's a whale on
your bow. Take it all in aboard the Norwegian Pearl, Norwegian
Star or Norwegian Sun. Not much has changed here in the last 400
years. Rugged coastlines. Huge glaciers. Wolves, moose, sea
lions, sea otters and grizzly bears, oh my. Choose to sail from
either Vancouver or Seattle. And that's just the beginning.
Freestyle Cruising puts you at the helm on board and in port.
Choose what you want to do in each port city ahead of time or
see what each day brings.
Ketchikan, Alaska
Just three miles long by three miles wide, Alaska's first city
is lively. Replica totem poles are on display at Totem Bight
State Historical Park. Walk the old boardwalk along Ketchikan
Creek in search of shops and cafes.
Juneau, Alaska
Accessible only by water and air, it's not surprising that
wildlife thrives in Juneau's stunning frontier landscape. In
fact, it's the only state capitol whose governor's mansion sits
less than one mile from prime grizzly bear habitat.
Skagway, Alaska
Downtown Broadway offers a true sense of frontier, boomtown
life. Hike to the 300 feet high Reid Falls from the cemetery in
town. The gateway to the Klondike retains its frontier style
well.
Prince Rupert
British Columbia's coastal city was once a major fishing and
timber port. Fish, hike, white-water kayak or canoe. It's up to
you. Visit the Museum of Northern British Columbia and the North
Pacific Cannery
Seattle, Washington
On a clear day, the Seattle skyline is stunning. On rainy
days there is much to do and see under cover. Take a ferry
across the Sound or check out the view atop the Space Needle.
Visit turn-of-the-century Pioneer Square day or night. |
